Shopping treat for orphans

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 90 orphans were treated to a pre-Hari Raya shopping spree at a Jaya Jusco outlet recently by the MTD Group of Companies.
The children from Rumah Titian Kasih, Rumah Bakti Selangor, Pertubuhan Penyayang Raudah and Rumah Silaturrahim Nurul Qana'ah also received duit Raya and were treated to a buka puasa feast.
MTD Group's highway department head Ir Wan Razali Wan Muda said: "This annual Aidilfitri treat is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme and is a community activity in line with the Prime Minister's 1Malaysia agenda."
The MTD Group is involved in the building and engineering sectors, also toll highways, manufacturing, real estate, energy and waste management. The company also manages the East Coast Expressway and part of the Kuala Lumpur Expressway to Seremban.
